Bark Park & Cleaning Time

Yesterday was a REALLY fun day. Mom and I slept in really late and then she took me to the bark park where I made a lot of new friends. There were 4 other boxers there and they were the same age as me! We RULED the place, everybody wanted to play with us and pet our wiggle butts!

They make the big dogs and the little dogs go into separate play areas, which is totally stupid because I like playing with all shapes, sizes, and colors of dogs (mom says I can't discriminate and I have to play with everybody nicely). The coolest thing ever though was that this human brought her little dog in there to play with us, we were having a great time running around making her chase us.

Mom was hanging out talking to Lucky and Lilias mom (those were the other boxers at the park) and the little dogs human got REALLY mad that we were playing with her. She picked her up and started yelling at us. I ran straight to mom and gave her my best "I didn't do it" look, she said that I wasn't in trouble and it wasn't my fault. Which was a good thing because all I was doing was playing, I never touched that little girl at all, even when she bite ME!

Laila's mom got mad at the lady and told her that if she was going to flip out about us all playing together then she needed to keep the little dog in the little dog part of the park. Humans are nuts.

So after we got home from the park, I was really tired. Mom started cleaning the house so I figured she wouldn't miss me if I went in the other room and took a nap. I don't know why she made the bed, it's way more comfy when all the covers are squished up around you. I fixed all the covers and took a nap. Apparently mom got worried about me because she was calling for me and looking all over the house, but I was just sooo tired I couldn't get up. When she came into the room she flipped the lights on and saw my head sticking out of my little cocoon. It was so bright and then she uncovered me, which sucked because it was cold in there....

See, totally minding my own business not bothering anything for once and she wakes me up and makes me move. I guess she DID stick up for me at the park today so it's only fair that I get up and help her clean.
I'm totally a natural at this cleaning thing. For real, if you need my help let mom know. My specialties are chasing the vacuum, stealing the dust rags dad leaves on the floor, and helping scrub the couch cushions that I may or may/not have messed up.

Until next time!
