I have a new TOY!!!!!

Ok, so last week mom came home with an extra kennel and food bowl, and for the life of me I COULDN'T figure out why she would want me to start sleeping in a smaller kennel. Although the two food bowls were a total plus.

....I now know what they are for.

This past Friday mom and dad came home with a new toy for me to play with!

Mom said her name is Cora. She is almost 8 weeks old and she is a boxer just like I am!

This is the best present I've ever gotten! I loved her right from the start! We played and played until she was so tired she passed right out.

Mom says I play a little to rough with her, but I don't mean to! I'm just really excited to have a sister! I have been trying to do better though. On her first night with us, she told me that she really misses her brothers and sisters and when she started crying, I laid next to her kennel until she fell asleep. I remember mom and dad doing that for me when they first brought me home (and they both look REALLY tired) so I wanted to help them out and let them sleep.

Boy does Cora cry A LOT! It's mostly during the night though, during the day she will sleep all over the place (under chairs, tables, the couch, her kennel) and she never says one word! But as soon as the sun sets, she wants to be anywhere but that kennel.

Speaking of under the table....

She has started to hide under the coffee table. Which is total bull because whenever I walk by it she will JUMP OUT, bite my ankles, and then hide back under there where I can't reach her! It doesn't really bother me to bad (don't tell her that though) and I like to play with her so she feels more comfortable here. The picture above was after about an hour of the "ankle games" as mom calls them (Eye roll).

She's so little, I like when she sleeps next to me. She tells me it makes her feel better having a big dog
like me around to protect her.
Well I wouldn't let anybody mess with my little sister! Only I can pick on her!

Now that there are two of us, I'm sure mom will have a lot more on her hands to take care of. Which means I should have more time on the computer (since she wont have time to use it).

I also head that little Cora has a date with the hated Vet tomorrow (haha at least it's her and NOT me). I'll try to get her on tomorrow afterwards to tell her story. I don't think she can type yet though, so I'll probably have to write for her.

Goodbye for now internet people!

I LOVE THE PARK!

Dad was out of town this weekend, so mom and I got to spend a LOT of time together. Which is cool because she's my favorite.

Anyway, she took me to the bark park on Saturday and we played fetch A LOT, which I LOVE.

I also love dropping my ball in the water bowl and playing bobbing for tennis balls!

Sunday mom was really tired so I just hung out with her around the house reading, watching tv and taking a nap.

Mom and dad have been spending a lot of extra time with me lately which is really nice, but I'm starting to think something is up.

I've heard comments like "the other one" and "when the puppy gets here" and I wonder what that means?

Oh well, I'm not going to ask, I'm just going to enjoy all of the attention!

Until next time friends
