I has a leaf!

I brought mom a leaf to make her feel better!

 But then I ate it...

 It did NOT taste good!

And then I felt bad because I ate the present I brought mom

When mommy doesn't feel good...

Nobody in the house feels good, especially me.

Last week mom had surgery because she has been having breathing problems. She talked to me about it before hand, but I didn't realize how scary she would look (don't tell her I said that) or how much she wouldn't be able to play with me :-(

I was really scared when she got home because her face was wrapped up. I got my pacing and crying out, and then I made sure I was there for her...
Because I know she would need lots of cuddles to get better. We took a LOT of naps together over the week, which was nice.

I also made sure to check mom every 30 minutes or so just to make sure she was ok. No matter what I was doing, I would get up, check the temperature of her forehead with my nose, and then give her a little kiss before laying back down. She told me I was a good nurse! Well duah mom, you always take really good care of me, so I have to take care of you too!

The one cool thing about moms surgery was that Grammie came to visit and keep me company! Every time she comes to visit I try to get her to give me food.
This time she had pringles, I was REALLY close to getting one. But I struck out again...

Mom is doing a lot better now, and she can breath which is really good! I'm also glad to say that she can now get up and move around a lot more. I can't wait until she's cleared by the doctor so we can start going running together again!

Later guys!

Love is...

Look at the new sign we got the other day!

I think it fits for this house!

Holidays are over and and the wiggles are calming down...kind of

So Christmas came and went, and we had more traveling to do with that.

But we are back now, catching up on our sleep and not traveling at all which is nice.

Christmas started out with mom's side when we went to Grammie and Poppas house. I was ready to go even before mom and dad were, I was seriously about to drive the car without them I was that ready to get out of Dallas and go see my cousins in the country (Pippie the bull-a-dor and Lexie the shihtzu).

I got to hang out with my friend Peanut the Guinea Pig again, he's a real riot, I love that little guy (even if everyone ELSE doesn't like us playing together).

Oh AND my powers of mind control are totally getting better. I FINALLY got Grammie to let me up on her couch.

She even let me take a little nap on her (that's her right up there in that picture), even covered me up with mom's new blanket that she got for Christmas when I got cold. Even Pippie and Lexi can't say they have even been on Grammies couch so obviously I'm the superior dog here.

After Grammie and Poppas house, we drove to Kansas to visit dad's parents. By the way it is WAY colder up there, and I don't know if you know this, but my short fur is not made for cold.

I really don't like when that cold white stuff sticks to my paws or other "delicate areas", so every time I have to go out to "handle my business" I usually run like the wind to the nearest grass I can find (a lady hates to hover over snow) and run back as soon as possible.

We carpooled with two of mom and dad's friends on the drive back from Kansas so the car was really crowded. I was asleep for most of the way thought. I bet you never thought THIS could be comfortable (thrust me though, it was, I slept this way - out like a light- for 4 hours).

That's all for now. I do realize that today is valentines day and I should be writing more stories for you guys and wishing you a lot of extra slobber and kisses today so I will wish you all of that. AND I promise I WILL write more! I have fun stuff going on every day (I'm a boxer, come on now I was built for fun!)

EXTRA Slobber, Kisses, and Wiggles today!

We've been out of town...a LOT - Part 2

Hello everybody!

Man it's been CRA-ZY at the house this past month. Lets see, we were visiting the family for thanksgiving when I last wrote so I'll start from there.

Whenever we go to see mom's side of the family, we always stay with my mom's sister.

Which is so much fun I so much fun I can hardly stand it! Not only do I have my two cousins Pippie the bull-ador and Lexi the shih tzu (who is a total bitch by the way, and not in a good way) to play with, I also have horses, a guniea pig, and a real pig (who's name is Bacon) to hang out with!

I freaking love that little guinea pig. He runs around his cage in circles and lets me chase him, we have a lot of fun. Although the humans don't like it when Peanut (that's his name) and I play together, I don't care because we have a lot of fun!

Here we are playing chase

That's about all that happened that trip I think...Oh, Lexi stole my bed for most of my time there so I had to sleep in hers...which was NOT comfy by the way

We've been out of town...a LOT - Part 1

I has been SO LONG since mom has let me write to you guys.

I'm really sorry.

We have been out of town a LOT! Well more like mom and dad have been out of town a lot, and they haven't taken me with them too much.

The first weekend of November I got to stay with my friend Blue Dog and his mom Leanne. He likes to act like he's this grumpy old man, but I can usually get him up and moving around. He always tries to tell me what to do and herd me around the house though and I don't like that. Mom says it's because he's a Blue Heeler, but I think he's bossy (kinda like him mom, but don't tell HER I said that).

The next weekend I got to stay home with mom and dad and we played and went to the park, then then next weekend I got to hang out with my friends Chloe, Timmy, & Rufus (and their mom and dad) while mom and dad were in Nu-bras-ka (weirdest name ever) for a wedding. I had SO much fun playing with those 3. Well...mostly Chloe just watched me while I told Timmy & Rufus what to do (Hello...Head B*tch in charge up in here!)
When they came to pick me up I was really really tired. I fell asleep in the back of the car before we even got out of their neighborhood. Those boys really know how to show a gal a fun time!

Then we were home for all of two days, when mom got some really bad news. Her grandma passed away. She was really sad. Mom is always really good about making me feel better when I'm sad so I did my best to try to make her feel better by letting her play with my ball.
But she said she was too sad to play so we held paws instead.

We left later that day we drove back to where mom grew up as a puppy so we could see the rest of the family for the funeral and to celebrate thanksgiving (not that anybody was very celebratory this year).

Part 2 (the happier part) coming up later.

-Slobber & kisses
